Individual sessions

During individual arts counseling sessions clients explore and build on their unique creative interests and build a healing, trusting relationship with an expressive arts therapist. Sessions provide the opportunity to process emotions and trauma, engage in self-reflection and mindfulness, identify personally relevant coping skills, and explore the creative arts as a healing practice. Check out the FAQ section below to learn more.

Some elements of Art & Souls’ approach:

  • Trauma-informed - The client has ownership over their session, no forced decisions or disclosures. In-person and virtual space is intentional, flexible, and welcoming

  • Unconditional positive regard - Come as you are. The energy is judgement free and validating, with space for challenge and growth

  • Transparent - honesty and integrity are necessary to build trust. The therapeutic and creative process, practices and policies of Art & Soul Clinic are open to discussion
